This is a portrait of the Arabian Stallion "Shahzareign" (pronounced Shah-za-rein) commissioned by his owners.  He is an artist's dream with his long and graceful neck, athletic grace, and fiery spirit.  His beauty and presence inspired me to use him as a model in many of my other works.   I took many photographs of him, is a beautiful Arabian stallion whose power and presence inspired me to create four more pastels paintings celebrating his uniqueness.
