I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and photograph Liz at her home. Her sprightly step and playful spirit belayed the wisdom that was apparent in the greying of her coat. In meditation with her I saw a vision of a hummingbird. I have learned never to question these things. After she passed away a year or so later, the owner had several encounters with stray hummingbirds in her barn and office in places where hummingbirds would never choose to fly … thus spirits often have a way of appearing in disguise.
