Description
"Dreamer" is a plein air sketch I drew of a beautiful horse named Marchador on a sunny day in Santa Barbara in 2017. It is actually a rare event when I am blessed to be in the presence of a horse. Being with him in the mental, emotional, and physical space allows me to draw the movements that express his essence.
The genesis of my artistic style came from sketching horses in motion. These unique works portray the essence of the horse’s spontaneous life energy in seemingly simple lines. The lines convey the energy of the horse and allow the viewer to make their own personal interpretations.
