THE STORY BEHIND THE ART
I was inspired to create a pastel of a woman reflected in the eye of the horse. This piece can be interpreted in varied ways. Is the woman sad or merely contemplative? The owl feather in the horse’s forelock can symbolize wisdom, a transition, or a transformation. The highlight in the horse’s eye took the shape of a flying owl…. Everything happens for a reason.
